    Devon is one of the most beautiful counties in Britain, but it’s also one of the most neglected.

    For decades, governments in Westminster have promised to “level up” or “invest,” but we’re still left with a crumbling rail line, an A38 that isn’t fit for purpose, and rural and coastal communities cut off from opportunity.

    I’ve also seen the human cost up close. In Plymouth, rough sleepers are left to suffer on our streets, violence against women and girls is rising, and too many families are trapped in poverty while basic services fail them.

    Devon Deserves Better is more than just politics. It’s about connecting our county to the rest of the UK by road, by rail, by digital infrastructure, and by giving our communities a stronger voice in decisions that affect us.

    For too long, politicians have looked after themselves while our towns, villages, and city neighbourhoods struggle. Broken services, wasted money, and the same old excuses time and again.

    That’s why I believe Devon Deserves Better.

    Better leadership. Better accountability. Better results. And not from long-serving councillors or career politicians, but from people who actually understand what life is like for the rest of us. I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who knows what it’s like to work hard to pay the bills. I know what it’s like to fight for what you want.

    But change won’t come easy, so I’m ready to roll up my sleeves, get stuck in, and do what needs to be done. This isn’t about following party politics. It’s about standing up for Devon.

    2025 Plymouth DEM Referendum

    I helped lead the Reform UK Plymouth Deserves Better campaign for a Directly Elected Mayor in Plymouth. While the referendum didn’t pass, it sparked a vital debate about accountability and leadership, showing how broken Plymouth has become.

    We exposed how the city is broken and why leadership change is urgent.

    2025 Devon County Council Local Elections

    I stood for Reform UK in Bickleigh and Wembury, where I came within 30 votes of defeating the Conservatives in one of their safest seats since 1985. A near-miss that showed how much appetite there is for change in Devon’s rural communities.

    I showed how even in Tory strongholds people are ready to back Reform.

    2024 General Election Reform UK Candidate

    I stood for Reform UK in Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, winning 7,467 votes and establishing Reform UK as the second strongest party in the constituency. It proved there’s a real appetite for change in Plymouth and Devon.

    I put Reform UK firmly on the map in Plymouth.
